Create your first chart
- Connect RaceCharts in your assistant and choose its access.
- Describe your chart and provide the data you want to use.
- Open the review link from your assistant, check the preview and approve. Then ask your assistant to save.
Try: “Create a portrait bar chart from these yearly values. Show me a preview before saving.”
Common questions
What can my assistant access?
You choose view-only or editing access, and all projects or selected projects. Creating or copying a chart needs all-projects access. Video export and automatic styling saves have separate permission controls.
Data changes need approval before saving. Automatic styling saves are optional. If the sign-in screen requests your account email for a workspace check, you can choose whether to share it.
Where do I review a draft?
Your assistant provides a RaceCharts review link with preview frames and a list of changes. Approving the draft allows that revision to be saved; it does not save it by itself. Return to your assistant and ask it to save.
How do I add an image or music?
Ask your assistant to use a file you provide. Attachment transfer depends on the assistant. If it cannot transfer the file, open AI connections → Manage → Upload a file manually, then ask your assistant to use the uploaded file.
Supported uploads: PNG, JPEG and WebP images up to 6 MB; MP3 and WAV audio up to 20 MB. Use files you have permission to use.
How do video exports and financial data work?
Video export requires your existing RaceCharts export entitlement and a separate approval. Financial-data access and usage limits follow your account. A connector does not add an export entitlement or unlock a restricted data provider.
Financial history may contain gaps. Review source notes and warnings before using the data; the connector does not place trades or provide personalized investment advice.
How do I stop access or resolve a permissions error?
Open AI connections → Manage to reduce permissions or disconnect. To grant a permission previously declined, reconnect from your assistant. A permission change may require pending drafts to be reviewed again.
When a connection expires, reconnect. If a draft conflicts with a newer saved chart, ask your assistant to read the latest version before continuing.
What information is shared?
Your assistant receives the chart text, data, previews and files needed for the actions you permit. Its provider handles that information under its own policies. Disconnecting stops future access, but does not recall information already received. See our Privacy Policy.
