Who controls your data

RaceCharts is operated by Sergey Krohin, an Israeli sole proprietor operating under the RaceCharts brand. Sergey Krohin is the controller of personal information processed directly by RaceCharts. Contact: hello@racecharts.io.

Information we collect

• Account information such as your email address, name and authentication profile.
• Chart projects, datasets, titles, events, style choices and other content you save.
• Images and audio you upload or attach to projects.
• Feedback and support messages you choose to send.
• Product analytics such as pages visited, editor actions, render status, browser type, device type, approximate country and referral source.
• Technical logs, timestamps, security signals and IP addresses processed by our infrastructure providers.
• Billing status, customer, payment and subscription identifiers, any remaining legacy video-credit balance, renewal dates and transaction state received from Dodo Payments. RaceCharts does not store full payment-card numbers.

How we use information

• To authenticate users and save, synchronize and recover projects.
• To preview and render animated chart videos.
• To process subscriptions, honor legacy export entitlements and enforce paid export access.
• To provide support, investigate failures and protect the service from abuse.
• To understand feature use and improve reliability and design.
• To comply with legal, accounting, tax and security obligations.

Service providers

RaceCharts uses service providers including Supabase for authentication and project storage, Vercel for web hosting and server functions, Google Cloud for temporary video rendering, and Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. These providers process data under their own contractual and privacy obligations. Authentication providers such as Google may also process information when you choose their sign-in method.

Temporary rendering data

Creating an MP4 temporarily sends the chart manifest and any selected audio to private rendering infrastructure. Render inputs and outputs are automatically deleted under the renderer’s configured retention policy, currently within approximately two days. Published files downloaded to your device are controlled by you.

Payments

Dodo Payments independently processes card details, payment authentication, tax, fraud-prevention, invoices, cancellations and refunds. RaceCharts receives only the information needed to identify your purchases or subscription and provide export access.

Cookies and local storage

RaceCharts uses browser storage and similar technology to maintain authentication, remember editor preferences, preserve the current project selection, keep a guest draft until sign-in and support product analytics. Guest drafts and locally added music remain on the device unless you create an account and save or sync them. Third-party authentication or payment pages may use their own cookies.

Retention and security

We retain account and saved project data while your account remains active and as needed for support, security and legal obligations. Billing records may be retained where required by tax or accounting law. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may edit or delete saved projects, cancel your subscription through the billing portal, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion or export of personal information where applicable. Some records may be retained when legally required or necessary to prevent fraud and resolve disputes.

International processing

RaceCharts and its providers may process information outside your country of residence. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used.

No sale and children

RaceCharts does not sell personal information. The service is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
